Saw a thing about those awesome vehicles on a few programs - of course that Top Gear Special was very entertaining and interesting. Saw a Clarkson's Motorworld program that was on earlier today about Icelandic motoring and I gather that these vehicles, or the company that performs the many mods and conversions, actually originate from there. Impressive, but they always show the famous lighter fluid tyre inflation trick...

Yes made by Artic trucks http://www.arctictrucks.com/ Unfortunately they don't do it in a kit but if you get a few guys together and have access to a workshop, they will come to you! I know they went to Brazil to do some vehicles.... Shame there is no way that an Arctic Truck would be legal in Australia...

All Imported and self manufactured parts to spec Saw the truck on top gear and wanted one, about 4 months ago ,n went and bought a Hilux 4x4 at and started doing the conversion

we run a engineering business and it helped with making the parts ,there is no where you can buy a over the counter kit as there is to many things that has to be done,I know about 2 more being build and 4 that are being imported at a cost of 1 bar.But i will not pay that

The truck can still run 160 on the free way and is very close to stock ,we have small items still to finish but it is just cosmetic, the cost to do this conversion is just under 200k but worth every cent .we live on a farm and it is superb in the bush and gravel roads

Welcome to the forum Mr Bear Engineering, Jan?

The Toyota looks awesome. You'll have to bring it to your Boksburg branch so I can have a good look at it.

Have you guys still got the Dodge Ram SRT10?

And yes, you do know me.

    Cheers
