I've been a passenger on a trike. It was like a bloody rollercoaster. Not my cup of tea. There was quite a bit of turbulence. Don't know if it's always like that.

And landing is interesting. Coming in at an angle with the pilot having to swerve straight as soon as the wheels touch. All this while steering the front wheel with his feet like a toy go-cart.

Nah. I'll stick to other stuff.

I don't wanna ruin your fun, but after flying in real aircraft, there's no way I'm getting in one of those microlight jobbies. Even when we do training on the C-208 Cessna Caravan, it feels a bit small to me, but that's about the smallest I'd go...

I know enough to be scared...

Maybe - but I'd just go a short way up the West Coast road, and go fly an Astra. Rated for +7 and -3G, and the best part is there is an ejection seat for if something goes wrong...

That should be quite an experience! Be nice when you win, and hire two lightnings, put me in the other one's rear seat...
