Default Navara DC water and fuel tank options

Starting to kit my Navara out for a trip later in the year, and looking at options for fuel and water tanks.

Obviously there's good old Jerry cans - nothing wrong there, except the DC is a little short on rear load space, and I'm not enthused about a hefty load of water and diesel on the roof for safety reasons.

Water wise, I've some space behind back seats - so 2x20 or 25l water cans in the cab is a simple option.

Also saw these for possible back seat use:

    Also noticed the following:

Looks like it would fit nicely at back of load bed, and only lose 8cm length which should be manageable.

Both are obviously pricey compared to Jerry's, but have the convenience of hose and possible tap fitting.

Fuel tank wise, I only see the Frontrunner 65L long range listed for the Navara.

Again it's pricey, and there's the note that it lowers the spare wheel - which given Navara is already a bit short on height, is a tad bothering.

Anyone experience of these or alternative suggestions?

    Cheers

    Rob,
I fitted the front Runner fuel tank on my Navara adding an additional 65 liters. Very satisfied. No problem with ground clearance as the tank is still above the line between the diff and the lowerst point of the tow bar.
I also fitted a 60 litre water tank behind the cab in the load box and fixed it with straps anchored to the rails in the Navara load box. Still ample sapce left to fit a drawer system.

Thanks Johan. Sounds very like the system I'm planning, good to hear it works out well. Also got some feedback and pics from another member privately that the tank clearance is ok.
