Default Rear Tire Carrier Installation Guide

    Hi Guys,

I have just purchased a rear tire carrier from 4x4Megaworld for my Toyota Fortuner, but the installation Guide seems to be missing. Can anyone guide me on how to install it, or give me a soft copy of the guide?

Can it be installed without removing the plastic bumper?

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Is it just a tyre carrier, or a complete replacement rear bumper?

No it is just a tire carrier with a trailer hitch, upon which the tire carrier is mounted. The trailer hitch is invisible behind the plastic bumper.

Can you perhaps post a pic so we can see what it looks like.
I have seen tyre carriers mounted through the PVC bumper and attatched that way with swing arm. This is all mounted direct onto the steel structure under the bumper.

Here are some pictures that I got from the vendor, they are not mine, mine are still not installed. This is just to give you an indication of which model it is.

DONE! I finished installing it, and it turned out wonderful. I'm so thrilled, I don't have to keep my spare tire inside the vehicle anymore.

I'll post some pictures soon. Thanks guys for the help.

Ok, here are some pictures after installation:

Manufacturing date is 12/2009, which is after I paid for it. Does that mean they make them on demand, and not keeping a stock of them ready for fitment?

I'm still missing the license plate holder bracket, it wasn't in the shipment, so I'm waiting for them to send it to me. Or maybe I'll just fab it up at a local workshop.
