    Default Anybody-Bass Lake?

Going to Bass Lake on wednesday 23rd Dec,trying my new/old Disco out, anybody around not at the coast or working- want to join in the fun, should be muddy and slippy? Last time I was there it was pretty deep water, there were a few guys walking around with wet suits on! I'll be there at 11am for a few hours- keeping away from swambos cooking and cleaning hysteria
Picked up my Disco at 5pm this afternoon, couldn't go straight home so went and played by the Vaal for 10 minutes-awsome vehicle, but still need to go on a trail and really see. Disco at 6.30pm:-

Thanks guys-spent the day repacking my toolbox and checking recovery gear, cleaned the interior, tested the rear with the seats flat to see if I could sleep in it, lot easier than pitching a tent for one night, can do but from corner to corner?Coloured the gear and handbrake boots as they were very scuffed, I just used a permanent ink marker-much better. It can do 'til the new year when I can get ones made up at my local upholsterer. Fitted my iphone docking station and garmin. Checked that my fridge fits and works-perfect.Charged batteries for camera and walkie talkies. My BIL is coming with his new Freelander, wants to see what it can do, he's an experienced 4x4er so should be fun
Now I've got to wait to get on Bass Lakes trail!! Can't sleep- Come on daybreak!!
