Car hire in Capetown

We are flying down to Capetown on hte 15th and back again on the 30th, I need to hire a car in Capetown , but so far all the major carhire places are fully booked , I know the timing is very late , but is there anybody that knows of a place in Capetown where there will still be cars available, I am looking for a car for about 250 per day, any help will be appreciated
I have tried Tempest, budget , Avis , Europe.

Good luck, I hope you come right. I am flying to Cape Town tomorrow on business. I am a gold card holder with Hertz and even that did not make a difference, when I phoned the call centre I was told all cars have already been booked until January. I did eventually manage to come right with Avis but this was 10 days ago.

Small family business. they are also quite busy though I won't be surprised if they are also booked up.
Friends and family use them when coming to Cape Town

another place that DEFINITELY has cars down here - www.rolarental.co.za

they deliver to the airport and so on, anything from a citigolf to a fortuner.

Rola have several dealerships in the area Merc, Toyota, Jeep, Chrysler, half the helderberg. they have cars available and if they are short they grad one from a dealer, they use the cars to make up their demo fleet!!!

Then there is also that one place renting Beetles... Come to think of it, no, I think you'd be better off walking. They're notorious for breaking down in the middle of nowhere and then the customers have to spend the next six months trying to get the company off their backs for nonpayment!
