The Machaka Game Lodge group will be introducing a new motor show to the public of Polokwane, Tzaneen and Louis Trichard on the 16th of next month.


Owners of the lodge, Greg and Andri Godrich felt a need to expose their new Pilgrims restaurant and converence centre to the public by attracting the public using the motoring means.


The show, starting at 10 on the public holiday, have given all business a FREE stand to display their products and already 50 businesses have taken the opportunity to interact with the public in these tough economic times.


All the major Motor groups will be present as well as tyre, glass, 4x4, camping and vehicle tracking companies.


The show also has major motorsport exposure as a 4 km rally stage has been designed for the rally and off-road guys to show off their talents to potential sponsors. The 4x4 club will spend the day on the lodges 4x4 track and the quad guys have a seperate route to give potential buyers a test drive.


The local drag racing club will be hosting a gymkhana for all to enter, while the radio car and airoplane club will be showcasing their stuff. The oval track guys will be using the rally stage for a little fun.


The beer tent, run by SAB, will be open from 10 and various food and drink stalls will run all day, live entertainment and dancers will operate throughout the day.


VIP tickets cost R120 per adult (R50 for teens, free to toddlers) and include access to the VIP sections, meals and a chance to be strapped into the seat of a rally or off-road race car on the very fast and sweeping rally stage. Tickets on the day to the public will cost R20.


Greg is requesting that all the rally and off-road guys bring their cars for the day, Greg will donate a couple of cans of fuel to the guys if they are willing to strap a few budding navigators in with them.


The 4x4 course is free for anyone at all times throughout the day.
