    Default ML Fuel consumption

    Hi guys

I would like to know what the fuel consumption is for the ML350 and ML500 respectively.
Kindly distinguish between town and open road driving.

    Thanks

    Braam

I will find out the exact figures from my dad that he gets on his 2004 ML350.

Perhaps you will find the specs below helpful. They are for the W163 (pre 2006)

I;ve read somewhere on an international Merc forum there is very little difference in fuel consumption between the ML350 and ML500 because these are such heavy cars, 2.1 to 2.3 tons. Thats why I got the ML55. My dad has the 270CDI and overall he gets about 1 km/l better than me, and I have double the kW...

Open road 12.5l/100km, city driving anything from 14.3-18l/100km, VERY DEPENDENT ON HOW HEAVY THE FOOT IS. These are my figures.

EDIT:I HAVE PREVIOUSLY POSTED KM/L, IT IS L/100KM

    Just got A 2007(W164) ML500 with the 5.5L V8.

    Fuel tank is 95 Litres

    Urban Driving has seen a best of 19.6L/ 100KM Although I get a consistant 22L/ 100KM if I don't nurse it.

Highway driving has seen a best of 12.5L/ 100KM with a consistant 13.6L/ 100KM if not nursed.

You do get a W164 ML500 with the 5.0L V8, but the 5.5 is miles ahead
