Henry2be - Yes it's red so was it in a heavy accident?

Damn thought it was to good to be true.

Why not contact Matt C for more info. He had it up on a lift to check it out. Must be the same one.

Has anybody heard of LPG conversion. I've read up about it and can get it done for R8000 maybe even cheaper. Will almost half fuel consumption. Well fuel consumption will go up by aprox 4% but the price is about half per liter of LPG.

Any comments or experiences. What do we pay for LPG gas nowadays?
Run LPG on both Jeep at home, would recommend it, UK fuel is currently £1.06 for petrol, £0.49 for LPG
Only problem is siting the tank in an XJ, search on here, I posted some photos of the tank install on mine, go for the biggest you can without losing space, and make sure you get a 70l tank or more, anything less and your range is less than 200 miles.

    Hi gents,

    Sorry for the long absence.

I can't believe they are still trying to flog that red XJ! Don't go near it!!! It's a nightmare that happened, got fixed, and is now waiting to happen again.

My XJ is v.heavy on fuel. I only get about 20l/100kms in town. But this drops substantially to 12l/100kms on the open road. I have been having issues with injectors (I think), so this may be the cause.

I bought my XJ about 3 months ago and was undecided between 2. The one still seems to be available. It's in very nice nic, have a look http://www.4x4community.co.za/classi...uct/1653/cat/4

    Good luck with the search!

haha,,im sure the gas comes from the same oil bosses that control petrol/diesel

Are you guys getting 6km/l with your XJ`s ... WOW I`m getting nothing more than 4km/l on my ZJ... I know the ZJ shoud be heavier but the diff should not be that big. Open road is not bad, around 7.5km/l
    Any ideas?

The ZJ has perm 4x4 which uses more fuel. The XJ's can engage 2WD.
