    Default Galvanising in Gauteng

I have a couple of items that need galvanizing, where in PTA/JHB can I have it done? Also - hot or cold, and what exactly is the difference?
    Everything is a hammer.
Unless it is a screw driver.

Hot: The part is dipped in molten zinc. Benefit: thick coating.

Cold: The zinc is electroplated onto the part. Benefit: Good adhesion and better presicion.

Try View Engineering (011) 493-5960 or Stainles Precision Engineering (011) 674-5046. I am not sure if they will do small orders, but might be worth a phone call. Maybe they can direct you to someone else.

    What Arrie said.

Electrogalvanizing is much nicer looking than hot dip galvanizing.

"Cold Galvanizing" is sometimes also referred to as being the process of 'painting' of zinc compounds onto metal, such as touching up galvanized objects after welding, grinding, drillig etc.

I've used Glavadip in Watloo a couple of times. Good service and, for what you are getting, very cheap. 0128035168
