Yep, BYD SA has already applied for registration of the Denza name locally, they are definitely coming here. It is known elsewhere as the Fangchengbao Bao 5 (Leopard 5), insanely impressive vehicle. Definitely worth checking out once they arrive here.
The Leopard 8 is bigger, more luxurious, has a 2l (vs 1.5l) generator/engine and more kW (550 vs 505), but the same torque (760Nm) and acceleration (4.8s 0-100). Some comparisons:

To me it looks as if BYD, LR, Toyota and a couple of other large SUV manufacturers are all using the same designer.
