Proud LR Disco 4 owner
Hi everyone
Thank you for the add. I am from the East of Pretoria and have been a Disco owner for about 10 years. Only recently started venturing into Africa.. Botswana - Kutsi Game Reserve was my fist trip. The Disco with it's intelligent 4x4 modes and air suspension, loves the challenges it is presented with, the worse the road, the better it performs.
I have Buntutec Rooftop tent and 360 awning with add-a-room attached to a Frontrunner roofrack. Extra water and fuel jerrycans fit ontop as well. I have a Frontrunner 2-level loading rack for all the ammo boxes and fridge in the back. I have a 300ah deep cycle battery system with a National Luna 40A DC-DC charger and, 300W Solar panel ontop of the roof top tent and a Charing Systems 3000w inverter.
I still need to move the spare wall onto the back and get a LR Fuel tank (although I have been advised against the latter).
My next project is to replace the 19'' wheels with 18' for bigger sidewall.
I love to camp off-grid with as little facilities as possible. One of my favourite spots is Kyleu in the Dinokeng, only about an hour outside of Pta and I love traveling there past Cullinan taking the gravel backroads.
Whether taking the sandy back-roads into the bush or the highway to the coast, the Disco is equally comfortable.
True to LR I have had my fair amount of challenges that I would like to discuss and get advise on, on this group.
Regards,
Daniel.

The Disco 4 is one of the greatest all-rounders. You can look at Compomotive and Tuffant rims.
