Destiny Castle

Hi guys
I'm planning a trip to Clarens.
I'm looking for things to do around there.
My wife and I love history etc.
Anyone been to Destiny Castle? What's it like? How do you get there? I'll be driving an Opel Mokka with high profile tyres, will that be okay to get there?
Any other places around there worth seeing. I'll go to Gen Lees as well.

There are some Boer War sites in that area. Surrender Hill is about 10km from Fouriesburg on the Clarens road. I'm sure there's also some cave / overhanging rock place that was used as a hide-out, but don't know exactly where that is in that area.

I have been there once but way back before it was revamped.
We paid some kids from the area to take us up the mountain there was no road yet.
Wont help your question much though.
