New DWNP Regs

Has anyone had any recent experience of trying to add extra people onto an existing booking ,at the Two Rivers gate, since the new regs were published recently?
We have a confirmed booking for 2, but are getting no joy from Gabs when trying to add 2 extra people,
Booking is for first week in May, and time is getting short to decide what to do.

DWNP will not amend your booking. Once you have paid you cannot add extra people.

The staff at TR gate will also no longer add extra people to bookings. The extra people will need to make their own booking in their names.

There are few people that tried it recently at TR gate and failed. Have look on Sanparks Kgalagadi FB page.

Busy with this at the moment! Another couple want to join us a Mabuashehube in July and they refuse to amend the booking and add them. They had to book separately for the same date and campsites as us. I had to confirm they are with us.

Strange, I requested adding two people at two sites in the Kgalagadi for Sept, no problem, just paid extra for the two and I assume the extra vehicle.

HI when was this? Since March, no addition to a confirmed and paid booking. Please re confirm and give us feedback .

I normally book for two persons and pay for my son and family on arrival. I have my normal booking for two for Rooiputs and Polentswa for July. I thus phoned the offices in Gaborone and spoke to Bushy and said that I would like to add two adults and two children with one extra vehicle. He took my booking reference number and assured me that I can pay for the extras on arrival. I presume that he made an amendment on my booking,but have not received anything in writing.

I just called them. The gentleman on the phone, confirmed that, they had a meeting after that March press release and decided to reverse their decision and now they can add to the confirmed booking.
We ask for an official communication and we will add if it becomes available. I think the issues of changing Confirmed booking's Name is the ONE still not changed but we shall wait for communication.

My complaints got me nowhere and I had to just voetsek off to somewhere else.

I don't understand why an amendment to a confirmed booking would influence another campsite? Could you explain Damdan?
