Toyota Hilux/Fortuner Gear lock Campaign

I have seen on my Toyota App that there is a campaign for the Auto gearboxes on the Hilux's and Fortuner's. I visited my local Toyota Dealership to enquire about the campaign. Subsequently, I have booked mine for next week. I think at R300 its a bargain to say the least.

Wonder if they do anything on the Manual versions (or maybe they get stolen less?)?

Simplest would be to check on the My Toyota app.
I also had mine done, auto also.

What is that big lever above the lock? Looks vaguely familiar, but I dont think I've seen one of those in the last 15 years.

Good on Toyota for carrying the bulk of the cost for the retrofit.

Only to unlock, to lock it you just press it down.
