Montagu Pass Condition 2025

Hi all. Has anyone attempted the Montagu Pass in the passed few months. If so, please give some detail? Is it doable in a 4x4?

I have been up there this morning and only went as far as the Old Tollhouse. The road is barricaded with a "Flood Damage" warning but I see a well beaten path around the barricade.

The pass is wrecked and closed for good to vehicles. That is why it has a barrier
