And I'd never buy one, even if I won the lotto. If I won R100 million, I'd confirm your testicular fortitude by buying you one...

    4. Chev Silverado
    3. Toyota Tundra
    2. GMC Sierra
    1. Ford F150

The Tundra is very nice, but the Ford still came out tops for me. I got the Powerboost one (3.5 twin turbo V6 with electric supplementary motor)
Interesting that you have the GMC 2nd and the Silverado 4th, I always assumed that they were very similiar, like the Ranger and BT50 were?
    2013 Lexus RX350 EX AWD - 12.3 l/100km from 81,000km to 286,000km (best tank to tank 10.9 l/100)
    Alonso | Verstappen | Albon | Piastri | LeClerc
    EX:
    2013 Ford Ranger 2.2 XLS D/C - 11.8 l/100km new to 243,000km
    2007 Hilux 3.0 D-4D D/C - 11.9 l/100km new to 342,000km
    2001 Hilux 2.7 Raider D/C - 15.1 l/100km 110,000 km to 321,000km

They are very similar indeed, however I'm a bit of a sucker for features, and the GMC tends to come with more features than the Silverado, better interior, and I prefer the look of it. You are 100% correct though, chassis and engine are shared

For SA application you would be fine fine with a Tundra.
In US farming applications they are absolutly nowhere.
They do more with Ford Powerstroke than I can do with my Fuso and Isuzu trucks.
They can haul up to 26000puonds and more.

Tundra doesnt even offer an diesel option.

Like I said, people who compare Tundras to US trucks dont know what they are talking about…..

The Ram actually plays second(or fifth fiddle when it come to US trucks.
None of the working American working class buy them.
On the farms and in US construction,…the F series reign supreme.

Toyota doesnt really offer anything in the Heavy/Super duty category……
2 weeks ago, I took delivery of the new Ram 1500 Rebel X with the new SST motor. Let's see how that goes.
