So no gate codes etc needed?

I am planning to go through there this Saturday...

We drove through recently from the Touwsriver (Bloutoring) side, the siding gate was closed, but not locked.

You can always phone them to confirm.

We drove through in August. Both gates just slide open. Nobody at either gate. No wood allowed.

Hi. Out of the 5 campsites (Duiker, Springbok, Gemsbok, Steenbok, and Eland) at Anysberg NP, which site is the biggest and shadiest?

We stayed at Eland a week ago on a Sunday and had the place to ourselves. The two closest to the ablutions (Eland and the one alongside)have the least shade available of the 5 and the afternoon sun absolutely hammered us. They all have big umbrellas available. As for size they’re all much the same.

As previously mentioned, don’t bring wood inside. You can bring charcoal or buy eco logs and charcoal and blitz at the office.
