Default Camp Sites in Inhambane area

    Good day fellow travelers,

We are planning to go camping in the Inhambane/Guinjata Bay area, but there is very little recent info available on camp site conditions post Covid. and we need need recommendations from campers that visited this area in recent times. At this stage we are considering Coconut Bay and Barra Paraiso de Barra, but there is very little info available such as the status of the camp sites re water and electricity, ablutions and how far from the beach et.

It would be appreciated if anybody out there could provide is with any info on Inhambane area.

PS: Would also appreciate any suggestions on where to overnight between the border and Inhambane since the Honeypot is no longer available.

Kyk oor die see uit. Swembad as jy kinders het en strand so 250m weg.
Slaap oor by Africa Safaris baie lekker plek en hulle see kos Jo.

No, does not exist anymore. Had a look this past June when we were in Barra. White Sands looked ok, just need to time your entry/exit there as the access road is in a tidal area

Also have a look at Faraway lodge in Barra. Nice campsites behind the dune so the wind does not bother as much.

    Goeie Dag Leon,

Het by Bombas Alcar oorgeslaap in Chidenguele oppad huistoe. Heel aanvaarbare akkommodasie vir redelike pryse. Thanx weereens vir almal se voorstelle.
