My piggy bank is emptier but my shopping list is shorter.

I got all items but one on my list. And there was only 1 seat cover company there, but I had already eliminated them as I want a different aesthetic.

It was fun seeing so many Jimnys in one place.
3 door is definitely more popular than 5 door, although 5 door was well represented.
Saw a gen 1 tucked in a corner. Some gen 3s, but mostly gen 4s.
My ivory was the most represented in the parking area with the gorgeous green taking second place. I expected to see more white ones, but they were scarce.
I saw no heavily modded specimens in the parking area. The heavily modded ones were inside displaying the wares of the vendors.
Parking area extras consisted of some tow hooks and 98% roof racks. There was a gen 3 with some type of thule square bar on. I saw some suspension upgrades peeking out. I must admit, I'm surprised that there weren't more tampering happening.
There were some that were personalised with cool decals on the doors.

Iron man was there with the Jimny they built out on their YouTube channel.

Tiger Wheels and Tyre had a clever van built out with suspension component examples mounted to the walls, like a mini show room.

Wild dog was there.

Indeflate had a booth.

As did Des Sol. Which meant I could make a tick on my shopping list.

In terms of the smaller accessories like arm rests, which seemed popular amongst the attendees, cup holders and the like there was JIMSA which is an online only shop, but had a pop-up for the event and Jimny Wild.

There was a a variety of trailers there.

Sadly there was no Metalian genie there. I would have loved to have see one in the flesh.

I didn't know they made camping trailers as I'm only familiar with their more military items. But apparently they started out in the leisure industry.

It had unusual wheel arches and the foof rack looked different from the usual.

There was a trailer under a cloth waiting to be revealed as well as 2 Jimny builds. Hopefully someone else took photos of those after the reveal.

There was a company called SG something that puts turbos into Jimnys.

Sadly it never occurred to me to take a photo.

And then there was this. I have no context. There was nobody around to talk to about it.





They did appear to sell wolfpack inserts.

There was an electricity in a box company called Flexopower.

And there was a company in Midrand that rents out fully kitted trailers RTTs etc. I will make a separate thread about that.

Oh yes, and there was a company called Bush-tech (I think) that had gull wing inserts for windows, molle panels etc. But only for 3 door, not for 5.

Wild dog had clever little recovery gear kits in a neat bag for those that don't have any yet.
