I live in Rosetta, Kzn midlands, and all roads have been closed off until further notice due to the heavy snowfall.
A mate of mine has been stuck in Harrismith since 19h30 last night.... He's turning around now to go home to Jhb now.

Authorities have closed all the roads due to dangerous conditions.

Was at bottom of Sani pass today took back roads to get there was not bad to the SA gate
on way back on back roads Toyota did not move over so I had to no choice I moved over and mud was like snot and the only ditch was in way, Yoyota driver just drove off, before people say I should of been at home this happened no where near any snow area
10min later back on road with no damage or injury
was a great day out

APPEAL TO GAUTENG TRAVELLERS

Please do not attempt to travel to FS or KZN via the N3 Van Reenens Pass until further notice. The route is still closed from Swinburne/Montrose to Tugela Toll Plaza.

All emergency and traffic teams are working tirelessly to rescue people and clear the route. Let's play our part and not add to the workloads of those who are braving these conditions to help others. We need to help keep each other safe.

Alternate routes are reported as open and are being used for essential travel. Please postpone or cancel all non-essential travel at this time. Road conditions are still dangerous with lots of snow and ice still present. Rather stay back, enjoy the time, and wait for the major routes to be reopened and safe for travel before embarking on your journey.
