    As recommended, Mountain Passes SA is an excellent online resource for all mountain passes in South Africa and Lesotho and well worth the annual subscription. The only books that I'm aware of is "Passes and Poorts" by Map Studio and "The Romance of Cape Mountain Passes" by Graham Ross.
