Hahahaha, sorry, bit OT, but I typed the question into AI and got the answer below 😂😂

Here are some resources to help you adjust the headlights of your 2024 Toyota Fortuner ⁴ ⁵ ⁶ ⁷ ⁸:
    - You may visit the 4x4 Community Forum for threads regarding headlight adjustments and other car-related concerns.
    - You can watch videos on YouTube that demonstrate how to adjust the headlight sensitivity of the Toyota Fortuner.
    - For further assistance, you may also visit the official website of Toyota or visit the nearest Toyota dealer in your area.

Is there not perhaps a little dial near the steering wheel somewhere that you can roll downward to lower them? I cant remember if my previous tuna had one. My prado does.
Otherwise often if you pop the hood there may be a height adjustment mechanism

Just stop at your closest dealer they will reset / re-level free of charge. Had similar issue few years ago and dealer was very helpful. Oncoming cars always flashed

Not sure if the same on your model, but if you need to adjust in the engine bay, look near the light for this dial (red) and use a screwdriver (blue) to adjust.

Am I allowed to ask the obvious question: What does the manual say?

On my previous lifted Hilux, I had to determine a base line of where the light should have been, and then used the manual adjustment to reset them (as post 8) to the old level.

It is quite easy to do at home Jay.
As per post #8, you need to manually adjust them inside the engine bay.

It is easiest if you have a garage, as you need low light levels to accurately get the lights to the desired height.
There is an adjustment screw for raising and lowering, and another adjustment screw for left or right movement.
Park a few metres back from the wall and put the headlights on (low beam).
The adjustment screws are located behind each headlight on either side of the engine bay.
For lowering the beam I recall having to turn the adjustment screw anticlockwise.
You will see the beam lower or raise depending on the direction you turn the adjustment screw.

If you don't have access to a garage then just wait till evening and do the same using a wall or the like.

Guys you helped with what the manual could not. The gear is behind the light and it worked perfectly.....thanks a mill boys. No more blinding oncoming traffic.

I assume Toyota would rather you pay their dealer a visit for this job.....thankfully not required.

    Thanks again Chaps

From my experience the headlamps are self levelling. On the 4x2 GD6 the original headlamp has a servo motor to adjust height and the aftermarket one does not come with the servo motor. So i would presume the Fortuner would have the same setup.
