Definitely a small water leak somewhere
|
Hi Guys
I am not sure if this has always been the case or if I am only noticing it now but this past weekend I noted my water pump pulsating a few times an hour just for a second or two. I assume there may a tiny leak in the system and its compensating for the drop in pressure?
I dont see any water leaking either so may mention it when it goes in for service next time unless there is an easy fix?
Oh this is on a newish Boabab 2
Thanks guys.

If you don't see any water droplets anywhere, the leak is in the system and can only be the diaphragm in the pump. It is fairly common that the tinest of dirt (like a piece of hair) gets stuck in the diaphragm, allowing a teensie amount of water to pass back through the diaphragm. It's an easy fix, (depending on the pump, but most are the same construction), loosen the four top screws to reveal the diaphragm and give this a gentle rub (even if you don't see anything), rinse and re-assemble.
