Default Current (June 2024) import restrictions on meat from SA to Moz

    Hi All,

We are travelling to Moz this weekend using Komatipoort/Lebombo border and I need to know if there are currently any restrictions regarding taking frozen meat, specifically beef and lamb, into Mozambique.

I know that these are sometimes not allowed in case of Foot and Mouth disease, etc. outbreaks.

    TIA
    Theo

There is a current F&M outbreak in SA. I doubt you will be able to take meat through any border post.
