Lightbulb Fortuner - Modifications required for river crossings

    Hallo almal / hello everyone,

I will be travelling to the Okavango in July/August where I will be doing a few deep river crossings. What modifications should I do to my Fortuner GD6 4x4 to allow me to do these safely? For a starter I will be installing diff breathers and a snorkel. Anything else I should install/modify or know about?

    Dankie / Thanks!!

The first thing I'd change is your plans for deep river crossings, but that's just me. Is there no other route you can take, any chance of going around.

Failing that, have Hendris' cell number on speed dial.

If you absolutely have no other choice wrt deep river crossings, make sure about the type and how your snorkel is fitted.
