Check out Iveco and MB Sprinter.

Hi all,
I'm up in Zambia, but hoping to source a 4x4 10-14 seater passenger van from SA that can undergo some slight mods (upgraded suspension, slight lift, bigger tyres and electricals for refrigeration) as a tourism transfer vehicle. Anyone have any particular connections or ideas as to where I might look or who I might speak with? Seems like a lot of vehicles are in demand for full "van-life" conversions, but that's not what we are going for.
I appreciate any thoughts/recommendations.
Best,
Brian
Check out Iveco and MB Sprinter.
Current - 2009 Mazda BT50 3.0CRDi 4x4 d/c
Previous - 2005 Ranger 2.5 tdi 4x2 d/c (277 422km)
I can't remember if the 78 Troopie in people carrier form can legally carry 11 or 13 people, that will pretty much be your best options in terms of availability of modifications, plus it's a proper 4x4.
You can also look at the Mercedes Sprinter, they are available in 4x4, plus it's actually quite a good, propper 4x4 system.
Depending on your exact needs and conditions you can then look at trucks, Iveco, Isuzu, even a Unimog.
Before you judge a person, first walk a mile in their shoes.
Hi Brian, a very good friend has this in stock:

"K.a.k Wheeler
2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee 3.0 CRD - 400 000km and permanent member of the family
2014 Jeep Wrangler JKU 3.6 - no lift kit and smaller wheels.
Speak to your local Iveco dealer.
It is a 16cube 4x4 panelvan.
This can then get converted in South Africa to your requirements.
The MB Sprinter is AWD, not 4WD, and it is smaller.
They will most likely send it to my wife's company that does these
conversations for the major manufacturers, with SABS approval.
