Default 2.2 Ranger Starting and limp mode problem

Hi everyone. I'm gonna try to be as specific as I can be.
I fitted a secondhand motor to my ranger as my original overheated and an machanic stripped my original motor to beyond repair.
So I fitted the new motor and she was running fine for a week or so.
She then started to go in limp mode while driving. An easy reset (off/on) switch did the trick.
I noticed a bit of power loss and replaced the turbo with one from turbo clinic. Power was back but limp mode while driving continued.
The ranger also started to struggle to start ( hot or cold).
I changed the injectors and had the injectors programmed. Bakkie started fine for a day or two and then same thing started happening again... But this time the bakkie would go into limp mode and after a quick reset she will stall leaving me on the side of the road. At first after waiting a while she will start but die again immediately. Later on she would start and I could continue. It became so bad that I had to carry an extra battery with me as all the struggling will drain my battery.
We set the crank sensor and she will start... A day later...same problem.
I took off the fuel tank, made sure it was clean, checked the pump, fitted it again and still the problem is there.
This morning I got stuck again and immediately organised a new crank shaft sensor. While doing the sensor we cleaned the cam sensor as well.
Everything plugged back in, turned the key and the bakkie started.
Went for about a 3km drive, stopped at a client's place and when I wanted to leave.... Bakkie wouldn't start....
Got it started with a bit of quick start and drove her home.
Now I am at my wit's end.... I have know idea what further can be wrong.
I someone have any ideas ... Please help!!!

Do you have any error codes? Might help diagnose the problem.

I have one of those Kenwei obd testers. Doesn't pick up any fault codes.
Change the fuel filter again this morning..
    Engine just swings...
Cleaned all sensors and sensor connectors.
    Engine just swings.
Checked for fuel bypass on injectors but there is none. Only little splatter when engine is revved.
I started the engine again with quick start, bled all the injectors and the engine started up.
Took her for test ride and bakkie went into limp mode.
Stopped back at the garage, switched the engine off and tried to start again.
    Engine just swings again.
Started up again with quick start and bled injectors again. Engine started again. Again a test drive and same thing happens.
Beginning to think that the fuel system might be sucking air in somewhere or something.
Just no idea where it could be.

Also check the fuel rail pressure sensor. Click image for larger version.

Take it to a reputable performance workshop for a diagnostic scan..

I dit take it out to make sure it's clean. There was a whitish liquid on the thread and on the inside of the rail.
Cleaned it off, but have no idea what that could be.

Will have to do that again I think. Last time when they programmed my injectors it showed a fault with my crank sensor. That was the reason I replaced the sensor.

Your problems sound exactly like the behavior of a faulty relay on the ignition supply to the electronic control module.
    Iow a faulty relay/ecm.
If my technical terms are correct.
    Have it checked out.

I will see if I can find a Ranger and take a pic for you - but when looking at the engine bay there is a earth strap about 50/60 cm long on the far right. It earths near the top of the engine bay. I had Rangers in my business a couple of years ago and these straps would cause problems with 2 of them going into limp mode quite often. Once replaced all was good.

Will this be one of the relays in the fusebox in the engine bay?

Will really appreciate it. I don't recall an earth strap. I'm obviously aware of the main earth from the battery.

    Ok...
    Changed the injectors....
    Changed the crank sensor....
Drained the tank and check in tank pump.
    Replaced diesel filter....again...
Changed the fuel rail and fuel rail sensor...
Changed the solonoid and sensor in high pressure pump...
Swopped the Maf and Cam sensors with my other 2.2.
Swopped all relays in fusebox with my other 2.2...
Double checked the injectors for any bypass...
Made 100% sure there are no fuel leaks...

Bakkie is still not starting on its own while cranking.
When put on diagnostics it only brings up the fuel pressure up to half the desired kPa.
When the bakkie is started with quick start spray and running the fuel pressure is perfect in line within the desired specs...

When bakkie is switched of the fuel pressure disappear and the bakkie won't start again unless using quick start.

While driving the bakkie will go in limp mode specially around 3rd or 4th gear while boosting. If I try to reset while driving the bakkie will run out of fuel within about a kilometer. If I continue driving in limp mode I only have about 2200rpm to use but I can continue without the bakkie cutting out.

4 different diagnostic machines later and still can't find the problem..... Just keeps on saying my injector fuel pressure low.

I've done everything I could think of....
    Any tips or advise please
