Very neat, but how do you operate the clutch or plug in the controller? Or am I missing something?

Also spooling out the cable using the remote is really tedious.

I am sure there is a plug for wired remote on the grill maybe, my FJ has one but you need to open the bonnet to access the clutch release. I use my wireless remote all the time and in fact in 4 years have never used the wired one. I keep a spare battery with the wireless remote and only replaced once so far. I have a rhino winch.

Wireless yes. But there is a hole in the cover in front of the radiator to access the clutch or plug the wired remote in as well.

This client had another bash plate which failed. He ordered the Stofpad4x4 plate, specifically in red (look, even his ramps are red) and installed himself today.

On Saturday we added a set of spotlight brackets to the winch plate. The client will now fit his own spotlights.

Uys, are you going to look at winch fitment for the new Prado? Front camera would have to be relocated.

I just received this from a client:

We've just come back from a 5000km 4x4 camping trip thru Bots, Zambia and
Zimbabwe, there were 6 vehicles and I was in my old reliable 2003 Prado 120,
it was in Liuwa Planes Zambia that the incident occurred.

I was on a very sandy track with a high middle mannetjie and I connected a
tree stump hidden in the sand, we came to quite an abrupt halt with my
wife's teeth embedded into the dashboard!!
it pushed the bash plate up into the forward diff, had a good look around
no oil leaking so I drove back to camp, only damage to me was a deaf left
    ear from my wife's winning!!
I removed the plate, luckily no damage to the diff.

Now the fun began how to straighten the plate to stop it from rubbing on the
diff, we tried a high lift jack but all it did was lift the Prado bury the
plate into the sand and make us scared,
after a good couple of beers we decided to make a fire and heat the plate
and beat it with a four pound hammer, this took a while as it was thirsty
work, we eventually managed to knock the dent out slightly, so it didn’t rub
on the diff. We continued the trip with no further issues, still like that
    now.

Thks for saving the day guys, its one hell of a strong plate.

Hi Hein: Die New Gen Ranger Amarok?
