I seem to recall reading somewhere that further development of BaseCamp was suspended a little while back, but the last version will remain available for download. To the best of my knowledge it remains compatible with all current GPS units.
Me, I don't really care, as I still use Mapsource...... but then again I still use an old GPS 276 unit.....
