    No. In my opinion it is not.

    My panels were visibly quite dusty.

    I hosed down one of the strings. Left the other string dirty.

    Left it to dry (3 days… cool panels are more effective).

    String 1 - 3392W
    String 2 - 3335W

    Not sure if the water used is worth the energy saving…

    I sprayed my 2kW string with a hosepipe this morning, it was visibly dusty and full of bird droppings, it sits at a 30deg angle facing true north.

    You can see the visible jump in output in the graph after 11h00.

    Bird crap can couse a short , depending how big it is , I have these Hardy big birds that love to crap on one solar panel all the time , it drops to 0

    Thats an open circuit. As in one or more PV diodes not conducting.
