    Default 1953 Chevrolet Pickup

    Good day all

Yes I know it is not 4x4 related but thought someone can point me in a few direction.

Me and my brother decided we want to redo our fathers old 1953 pickup for him as a thank you.

We want to start with a new chassis, new diffs, new wheel hubs and so on for now so it is drive able.

Will anyone be able to point us in a direction of which chassis might work? We have no idea which cars might be sufficient.
Keep in mind the Chevy is very heavy.

    Any feedback will be appreciated.

    Regards

Why don't you just box the frame?

Fatman Fab is the go-to for turn key rolling chassis for old cars/trucks…

    Here’s a link to ideas on making it a modern suspension/hot rod…

Plenty of people use Chevy S10/S15 chassis as well, but I have no idea how plentiful they are on your side…

You can also look at most bakkie chassis like Hilux, Isuzu and Nissan Hardbody. Many Hot Rodders uses this option.

Probeer pre 1995 onderstelle toe vin no nog net op body en nie op onderstel was nie
Vrywaring: Niks wat ek hier kwyt raak moet hoegenaamd as feite beskou word nie.
