Thank you for sharing this amaizing trip!
Comming all the way from Europe there is always a dilema about where to travel considering the fact that you have to rent a vehicle with camping equipement and the cost of that will limit the time you will have at your disposal.
If you love the bush you ideally want to spend most of your time in or around one of the larger national parks like Ruaha, Tarangire or the Serengeti.
Nevertheless it is also fantastic to explore the back roads and the lesser know places that are spread around in East and Southern Africa.
Actually some of my best memories are from places like that that I visited when I was a resident in the region some years ago.
    Again thank you for sharing!

Ps: the changes in the campsite by the Ruaha from when I was there in October 2022 and when you took your picture are spectacular, so much water in the river!

Everytime you write one of these my bucket list grows longer and longer! Would you say you have just about wrote a book yet? A book I would be keen to have!

Karibu! If you PM your email address, I will send you a Word document in lieu of a book.

Thank you for helping with the Czech “statistician” on the Kenyan forum. What can we say….

That fire pit has been mostly been washed away. It is now perching on the edge of the fast flowing river.
