Hi, I have not one but two amaroks, a manual 400 TDI 4 motion 2014 with a 2015 CNEA engine (single cab, tray back)with unknown kms and an auto 420 TDI 4 motion 2015/16 CSHA engine with 70,000km. (Dual Cab)
The CNEA engine seems very low on power in comparison to the auto.
The CNEA has: New fuel pump, pressure regulator and pressure switch on the fuel rail, new injectors, new dpf (the old one was replaced as it was actually blocked on the cat / doc side not the dpf). I have checked the intercooler and found a plastic pipe fitting inside the hot side intercooler pipe. (no idea how that got there but I have my suspicions) New air and fuel filters. Silicon intake pipe). Cleaned the intercooler although it was surprisingly clean?
Engine runs fine, starts easily, doesnt overheat, fuel econnomy seems comparable with the auto at lower speed town driving. Doesnt bring up any fault codes. The manual, compared with the auto doesnt seem to have anywhere near the same torque at low end and high end.
The auto is quieter although the manual is not noisy, has a little bit of a rattle but not a concerning noise. I know the torque specs are different but there seems to be a big difference, any suggestions appreciated
