    May I ask what gear you are using nowadays, and especially what lens you use for butterflies? My gap between 180mm and 500mm makes this stuff pretty tricky.

    Most are either with 200mm macro or the 200-500mm. Upgraded to a 180-600mm but still need to take it out butterfly/dragonfly hunting, which I might do this weekend.

    That 200 Macro is a lens I dearly wanted back when I was serious about macro. But they were very scarce.

    The 180-600 sounds like a great value-for-money option if one were buying a lens now.

    Looks like the Natalica is the flavour of the week. This sequence photographed a moment ago at my shack's garden, the blue caused by the roof of my braai stoep area and the green the actual shack rooftop. All coulors blending nicely, contributing to a peaceful image, hopefully doing justice to her memory!
