    This is a Pantala flavescens or common name just simply Pantala/Globe Skimmer in English or Narbroekie in Afrikaans.
    It is thought that this dragon fly migrates between India/Africa using the winds.

    It has a wide hind wing making it possible to glide and ride the winds. In early summer at the start of the rains they are often seen in high numbers.

    This is a Black-based Acraea or Natal Acraea - Acraea natalica
    Very common in my location north of the Zambezi river and beautiful on the eye!
