Apfac, with your excelent report, you made my resting in the shade of Khumaga campsite in Botswana a real pleasure. So nice to visit known places (and learning about new ones) through these reports from fellow travelers.
Thank you!

Hi apfac
What a wonderful way to start the new year, your report flew in under my radar until just now. Thank you for reporting in detail about your daily itineraries and for your usual terrific photography. Despite its mileage and added rear weight the rental vehicle appears to be standing straight without suspension tiredness and shows good tires. The clamshell tent looks huge and comfy and you didn't mention any leaks so it must have been a fit outfit from a company to keep in mind if ever we can return to Kenya.
Best regards

La Leona,
Thank you for reading and commenting. Indeed we were very pleased with the reliability the vehicle offered. Trust and confidence on the wheels one is seating on is important. The equipment supplied was of a high standard, and for us an overkill in terms of quantity. We did not use most of it. Tent wise, the clamshell was a treat to mount and dismount and as you said, was very spacious (space of which does not abound on most of these types) and comfy. With the weather we had no leaks were detected.

Thank you Frans 90,
It is always a pleasure to write a report, and specially to this Forum. It is a way of giving something back to the community, and travelling again : while writing and reading later.

All the best for 2024,

What a wonderful and detailed trip report. Up to now I’ve never been to Kenia. Your report sorted that out in just under a hour.
Punda - an interesting name for the vehicle. 👀
Thanx so much!
Thank you Tron. Glad I have managed to convince you to have a go to Kenya.

Thank you for the report, great stuff! And great photos, as always. I particularly like the dung beetle and the black and white motorcycle with the umbrella.

thanks for brightening my day in German winter time :-)
It was a pleasure to follow your travels through Kenya and your photos are special as usual. I particularly like the dung beetle foto, an interesting perspective.
