    Default Beestong

Net om julle lus te maak.....

Sien vanoggend twee mooi vars beestonge by die slaghuis. Koop hulle toe maar.

    Hier gaan hy.....

Twee tonge. Wortel. Ui. Swartpeperkorrels. Heel naeltjies. Sout. Vleisblokkie. Roosmaryn. Water.

Jy eet hom of jy eet hom nie.

Soos afval.

Meer vir my.

I remember when I was very young, my folks made this once or twice. Now that I think back on it, I think it was during a time they were really counting pennies. I donít remember the exact smell, but I do recall the whole house stank. And then the final nail in the coffin was my dad told me the cow used that to lick its own arse. Needless to say, Iíve never eaten tongue before.

My dad doesn't eat the thick part of the oxtail and not the tip of the tongue. 1 is to close to its @rse and 2 the tip of the tongue licks the @rse

My ma maak 'n heerlike mosterdtong gereg. Murgsag. Ons geniet dit eerder so elke anderjaar by die ouers.

By ons is beestong ook krismiskos. Elke jaar, klokslag. Dit staan bekend as "skoonma se tong".

I am not fond of eggs. I like tongue. My FIL was an egg chicken farmer, I always said I do not eat eggs as it comes out of the chickens @rse, and his reply was, "Do you know where the cow licks."
