    Default Mahindra 2.2 mHawk

Good day guys, please I need assistance with the Mahindra 2.2 bakkie. I am looking for radiator hoses, thermostat and service parts.
Was today at Mahindra Boksburg, Edenvale and all spare shops around in the East rand. Nothing available for the 2012 model only the latest shape. Where can I get spares for this vehicle as it looks for me that this is a big problem to own one of these vehicles.

    You could try Mandarin Parts.

Hi, I have recently bought a 2018 Pik Up S10 with 90,000km on the clock and will be servicing it myself in future. I am wondering whether I should replace oil and filter at 10,000km intervals, or stick with the recommended 20,000km intervals. Vehicle was last serviced by Mahindra and they had the following feedback:

'The 20 000km service intervals are determined by Mahindra SA, but I do have clients that prefer to do an oil change service in between. It is completely your prerogative though and not specified by Mahindra SA as necessary.
We use the oil manufactured by Mahindra itself, which is only available at the dealers, called Maximile. The closest oil to the Maximile is 5W30. But the Maximile is preferable as it is made specifically for the Mahindra engines.'

Any input would be appreciated, as would parts descriptions for generic filters etc for the 2.2 M-Hawk.
    Thanks!

Do the 10k oil change intervals. It greatly minimizes the risk of catastrophic engine failure.

I agree. The New Scorpio N (Same Motor just with some updated stuff) has 20000km or 12 month service intervals in SA but 10000km/12 months in Aus/Ind and NZ. Far too long in my opinion.

When I owned my S6, I did an oil service every 10k KM. The oil and oil filter are relatively cheap from Mahindra. It is great that the oil comes in a 6L can which is the required quantity so you don't end up with partially filled cans taking up space.

The 20k KM intervals just feels too long and the one time I didn't change the oil at the 10k KM interval to see if it made a difference the oil that came out was considerably more dirty and much thicker. Our climate and driving conditions can be brutal.
