    Default A simple key reprogramming

So I got asked yesterday to have a look at a peugeot 206, some unit was replaced and it just needed the keys coded again...

Well went out this morning, and this is what was waiting for me.Click image for larger version.

I did a diagnostic for him. Basically told him exactly the same as the first guy. But I proceeded to run some live values for him. His biggest issue from day one is that bsi does not pickup that there is a key inserted. Thus the ecu stays locked.

So no amount of trying to code a new key will work if the key is never active.

Could be as simple as a new ignition ring.

Other than that I am not touching it.

My happiest day ever was when I gave mine to a scrapyard, actually that was my second, my first was scrapping the french ex just after the car
