    Default Chroming Plastic - Possible, and Where??

    As above.
    I need to have a plastic grille re-chrome, or chrome plated, or whatever its called.
    Is this possible, and Where??

    From what I understand you need to get a chargge to hold .(current) I think the only plastic that can do that is abs plastic. ? I think they spray it first with a copper paint that can hold a charge.

    You can also look into hydro-dipping the plastic bits. The bits are then covered with 2k clear coat, in matte, satin or gloss.

    There is a process that gives a finish that looks like Chrome but is sprayed onto anything.
    I'll see if I can find the article I read and the info on who does it locally.

    Yes you can, friend of mine does it. Is limited to some plastics types, but he will guide you.

    He does all the chrome bits you see on finials for curtain rods, coffin handles, connectors for frames amd accesories for various industries etc...
