Picture of the antichrist on the R361 on our way from Augrabies to Karoo national park. This was an unplanned pitstop. Swambo and the boys were about 100m back up the road collecting the quills of a porcupine that was killed on the road - must have been about three or four days prior to our passing there by the look of things.

Dude, that thing looks shaweeeeet. Are those just the standard rims you painted black? If so then don't you find you get rub on the inside of the wheel arch with tyres as wide as 11.5"? I was thinking of going this size but I need to get steel rims with 4" backspacing to try keep them off the body.

I was more concerned about the width. When I am at full flex on one side, full compression at the other, I get a slight rub on the inside of the wheel arch against the side (inside) of the wheel arche against the body, not the top but behind the wheel basically. You can see where its rubbed the rubberizing off. I don't notice it though but they are only 10.5's so you are an extra half inch closer than mine.

Anyway, dig the Suzi. Really like it in blue I won't lie. Considering doing mine in blue now and doing hammerite on the rims, roll bar, rear bar, nudge bar and side bars. It will look very similar to yours and very sick. That's if I keep it of course. We'll have to see. Decisions decisions.

I assume you used hammerite on your rims?

I took it for a little axel twist and it does rub but its only toutching noting to serios to damage the tyre or body

Ya I didnt think it would be serious rubbing, If you doing highspeed stuff on sand it may take the rubberizing off like mine but I doubt it would be serious. Some backspaced rims would fix it too.

Haha, no like I said, its behind the wheel against the chassis almost, I'll take some photos on Saturday or so. Anyway, its just something to think about when putting on bigger tyres, on some vehicles its the width that becomes an issue first, not the height.
