Not really to answer the OP questions, but still interesting though
The typical consensus/advice on the forum is to remove the DPF and fit a free-flow exhaust, thus liberating more bhp
See this YouTube video, their results show no benefit in removing the DPF
On the other hand, by removing the DPF and fitting a free-flow the EGT's should be lower, hence you can ad more fuel and that should in theory lead to more power
They just removed the DPF and did not adjust any fueling
