I use Booxe as well in both current vehicles.

Did you get the coin or ribbed patterns? Curious as I have the coin pattern with a lip but from the photos the ribbed looks good

I went with Ribbed. I had the bustton previously but the ribbed are far more premium looking and feeling. They look great.

A question for the new Prado owners. I see they talk about a direct shift gearbox. Is that true? What is meant by that? Is it like the twin clutch DSG or what is different?

This makes me a little bit worried!

My early impressions are very positive. My VX-R is coming up to its first 1000kms and seems to be settling down nicely. The drivetrain/gearbox engine combo is really impressive, responsive and super smooth and refined. Loving it so far but obviously very early days.

Anyone put some decent tyres on since taking delivery? Seems like its not such a common size and stock is limited.
My best option seems to be Cooper ST MAXX 275/65R18

Love to hear comments on what tyres were used and if they significantly changed the ride or noise levels.

Also need some advice on the TowBar, to me its Very low and there is no option to lift it. With a heavy trailer it is going to scrape on the middle man, its at least 120mm lower than my Hilux.

Will 285/60's not work? Almost same diameter (little shorter) and much more common

It is starting to really irritate me. I am driving in Sport mode now as that makes it less pronounced.

Have you reported this issue to Toyota so they can log it? I haven’t driven mine since the 31 July.
