Overland Zimbabwe-Malawi via Tete, Mozambique

Morning all. We're soon to depart on another overland up to Kenya and back. With regard to safety etc has anyone got any up to date info on the route from Harare on the A2 north east to the Mozambique border at Nyamapande, and then on the N8/N7 through Tete on the Zambezi through to the Malawi border near Zobue & Mwanza? Been through Tete some years back and had the misfortune to have a video camera stolen then by enterprising locals so hoping lightning don't strike twice!. All comments welcome and thanks in anticipation.

Good day. We are in the process of planning a trip for August next year to Malawi via Zimbabwe and Moz on the same routing via Gonarazhou so I would appreciate feedback on your proposed routing. Will be towing a BL caravan/trailer
