Default Jim Tweeto of Flying Wild Alaska dies in Crash

I really enjoyed watching the series Flying Wild Alaska, which followed the Tweeto family and their air service business.

Jim died with one other person on the 16th of June, in a crash.

Sad news. Really enjoyed their series. He was a calm, down to earth and experienced pilot. But it is a harsh area to fly in.

Appears he struggled to gain altitude after takeoff and crashed.

Those guys flew illegally a lot, and it was on t.v This is with regards to the weather and regulations about what can and cannot be done.

Yip, also enjoyed FWA. Pity about Jim, but must say he was flying some high risk manouvres with that little red plane of his (which they also crashed in now).

Not sure if it's the story but it is a story:
