SNA won't work in any case. Need IP65 rating.
It's a few kilometres away from the sea.
LXP or Dye is my options.

    LXP-5.

It's not such a big house.
Geyser, stove, oven and kettle is on gas.
    But there is a pool.
And Durban weather is not like in Gauteng.

Is it just me or has the app and online monitoring been really temperamental these days? I find it is regularly offline and sometimes struggle to change settings or get updated info...

So I have the SNA5000wpv hooked up to a Hubble AM-2 battery, with 4 x 340w solar panels.

Previously I had an Axpert 3kva with Am-4 battery and the panels. They worked great for like a year, but we wanted to go the legal route so went to the luxpower last Wednesday.

All was working ok until yesterday when I had a small amount of reverse flow that triggered the tamper mode of my meter. How do I know this, it's the first thing the CoCT said, "do you have solar?". And with the Siemens Prepaid Meter, it's very sensitive to reverse flow.

The obvious solution is a CT Sensor, but seems this inverter cannot get one.

This is giving me a headache as I have had to turn off the mix PV and AC mode otherwise it might trigger the tamper mode again on the meter.

Hopefully there is a way I can install a device to prevent this back flow, but if not I would prefer to get a Deye as they can get a CT sensor.

Regarding the app, it was offline today. It also reads my battery as 50ah instead of 120ah. And the way the try prevent you from making changes in the app without administration codes is a little annoying.

    So far not very happy.

That can be achieved by setting the CT Power Offset to -20

I know it's a pain in the %@# but with the SNA one need to start -20 and play until You have the sweetspot

I'll now ask an installer in CT about the Siemens and what is the correct value

    Ok will do.

I assume this is the amount of watts it draws from grid at all time?

    Hi

This training video from Luxpower will help https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gWGFs7cP0Tw&t=2310s

There is a really good WhatsApp support group run by Luxpower. You can enter your problem here and they will respond relatively quickly. They also so remote firmware updates etc. from here. https://chat.whatsapp.com/HYx7K33TWNg0Wg0KWaPnTi

The Luxpower SNA is a very good inverter, but if the SNA model doesn't work out, there is a very well priced bigger brother, the Luxpower LXP model that has the CT clamp. Fanless, noiseless and manages everything for you.

    Will do.

I have set the CT offset to -20 and turned on mix PV and AC.

If it trips I will increase it again.

    Thanks again guys.
