    Default After Market Spares

    Hi all

Hoping someone can guide me to where I can get spares for my bike
Yes, the dealerships are first port of call...
But when they are asking half of what I paid for the bike for one part, and then have to wait 3 months for it....
Have tried Startline, but they do not carry the parts I am looking for (superbike)

Is there another Midas like shop I can look for bike spares?

Without knowing what type of bike and parts you are talking about, it’s almost impossible to help

    Howzit guys

    I have a 2015 BMW R1200 GS LC
I need someone that is trustworthy to have a look at my bike's front forks, they are bent and leaking oil.
It looks to me that it just needs new inner tube part on both sides, but I know nothing about forks and seals.
Is there anyone I can send my bike to for them to have a look and sort it out, other than the stealers please
Im in Pretoria, but anywhere in Gauteng will help
    Thanks

    Hi there Colin

I only noticed your request now so not sure if you have sorted your forks yet ...

But Justin, his business is called Motorrad Tech in Benoni and he is excellent - 011 425 6632 (hope he is still around)

    Thanks for the reply.
I did sort it, I bought a second hand pair of forks off a late model 2017, NOT cheap, but after fitting them, the bike rides like a new one... very happy😁

A bit of a double edged sword because the locals will probably be shopping here, but if you go direct then you have the import/shipping etc hassles while you may save on costs.
