Howdy all,
Looking for some decent trails that I can take my 2015 Ford Ranger on that have decent camping spots as well, something thats maybe 2 days long just to get a feel for it. Any help would be appreciated.
Consider the Cederberg as an option. Many nice campsites to consider.
A few easy options as starters for you in the Cederberg:
Algeria
Sanddrif
Kromrivier
Mount Ceder
Sam
ZS1SAM
2.4 GD6 S/C 4x4 auto
Bush Lapa Bosluis B2464

Here's a very basic route, goes past most camping spots/pubs in Cederberg

Tankwa Padstal
Cederberg Oasis
Sandrift
Stadsaal Caves
Cederberg Wines
Cederberg Brewery
Algeria(Cape Nature)
Veldskoen Padstal Clanwilliam
Enjo Farm
Tankwa Halfway House
All places you can Google to see what you like, stop and turn around wherever or stay over somewhere. Id suggest following that route to Cederberg Brewery if doing a day trip then straight to the N7 from there otherwise it will be very long.
Some pics from the last time i was there:

This is awesome thank you!
Try Anysberg nature reserve. Lots and lots of gravel and a few rocky areas, but definitely manageable in a 4x2. Awesome camp site, have been there a number of times.
