Had this well kitted 2.5 D4-d in this morning. EGR blank and a stage 1 remap.
It still amazes me how awesome these feel after a map.

Is the 2.5 D4-D 75kw donkey found in the Vigo the same engine as the 2.5 D4-D 105 kw found in some of the last Fortuner's released? What is the reason or the big difference in power?

Down tuned, no intercooler.

same as with the new GR Hilux, new power figures is difference in software only.

With the exhaust, there won't be be tooo much difference on the numbers, but the turbo will definitely spool easier.

For a quick reference you guys are welcome to use this page on the website.

For the 3.2 you are looking at 23kW and 80-100Nm gains.
The EGR blanking I do on both sides of the coin.
On the manifold, and on the intake. We can delete the cooler as well, but taking the warm gasses away means the cooler won't have any issues.
Typically the egr blanking takes around 1 - 2 hours.
The tune is done before this and loaded during this process.

Makes a massive difference to drivability and not needing to hunt for gears....

Defender 130 received a stage 2 hybrid rolling Coal map....
Spools nice and early and oh boy does she enjoy to rev 😂
